Relax and let go to discover your why

Before we begin exploring the depths of your inner motivations, your why, let us start with a simple relaxation technique to ease your mind and body. This will help create a conducive space for introspection and inner sensing.

Relaxation Technique:

Get comfortable, whether sitting or lying down, and take a deep breath in through your nose, allowing your lungs to fill completely and your abdomen to gently rise.

As you exhale slowly through your nose, release any tension you may be holding in your body, letting it melt away with each breath.

Continue to breathe deeply and slowly, focusing your attention on the sensation of your breath moving in and out of your body.

With each inhale, imagine yourself drawing in a sense of calm and relaxation. Picture this soothing energy flowing through your entire being, from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.

As you exhale, visualize any stress or tension leaving your body, dissipating into the air around you and being dissolved by a beautiful love light.

Allow yourself to sink deeper into relaxation with each breath, letting go of any worries or distractions that may be weighing on your mind.

Stay in this relaxed state for a few more breaths, savouring the sensation of peace and tranquillity that surrounds you.

Now that you’re feeling calm and cantered, let’s proceed with our exploration of your inner motivations.”

“What Is Your Why?”

What fuels your pursuit of your dreams and desires? What keeps you pushing forward when faced with adversity? These questions are answered by the essence of your being, often overshadowed by the noise of daily life. Yet, it is this inner voice that holds the key to understanding our true motivations.

Your ‘why’ originates from within, shaped by your perceptions and perspectives. It is rooted in how you sense, think, and feel about the world around you. So, I ask again: What is your why?

Let me guide you through a simple inner sensing meditation to help you reconnect with that still, small voice within, a voice that holds all the answers.

Inner Sensing Meditation:

Find a comfortable position and take a moment to relax. Breathe naturally and deeply, allowing yourself to be fully present in this moment.

If thoughts arise, simply acknowledge them and let them pass by, like clouds drifting across the sky. You can choose to close your eyes or keep them open, it is entirely up to you.

Take a few deep breaths and become aware of how your body feels. Breathe into any areas of tension, letting go with each exhale.

As you continue to breathe, pay attention to the sensations in your heart space. Your feelings in this moment will shape your thoughts, emotions, and actions.

Relax into the rhythm of your breath, allowing yourself to sink deeper into a state of relaxation.

Now, become aware of the atmosphere surrounding you. Stay present with your breath as you soak in the energy of your surroundings.

Take a few more breaths, allowing yourself to become fully immersed in this moment.

Now, bring to mind what you desire most and ask yourself: What do I love about this desire? What fuels my passion for it?

Take a moment to journal your answers. Let your thoughts flow freely onto the page, without judgment or expectation.

Next, ask yourself: Why do I desire this? What drives me to pursue it with such fervour? what is your why?

Again, jot down your response, allowing yourself to delve into the depths of your motivations.

Take your time with this exercise. There is no rush simply allow your inner wisdom to guide you.
